TRAVELBESTIE ONLINE incorporating Aus Lanka Cricket Group
ABOUT US
In 2008 we went on our inaugural tour and from there we have continued with many varied and fun tours. With 14 years of experience in a country we absolutely love and can fondly call it our second home.
On our tours we have met some amazing people and to our delight we have many travelers who return not just once but we recently had 2 couples who have been with us 4 times to Sri Lanka. That in it self is the biggest compliment that we are doing it right.
Why are we unique?
We are tour guides, not just travel agents, we stay with our tours. We pride ourselves in providing the best we can for our tour groups.
We do not ask you to travel independently we are on the bus with you, we attend all planned activities and we genuinely care for each and everyone who comes on our tours.
We just love to do these tours and we look forward to welcoming you on board.

Sightseeing tours
On these tours we explore Sri Lanka is various ways.
The Cultural Triangle is so called because it includes three major sites that form a triangle. Anuradhapura to the north, Polonaruwa to the east and Kandy to the south-west. Inside the triangle, there are other places of interest; Mihintale, Ritigala and Dambulla.
Beach side - taking in the beautiful beach side resorts of Wadduwa, Hikkaduwa, Galle, Mirissa and Yala/Aragum Bay
Mirissa beach offers a seemingly endless vista of the open ocean from its rock-strewn stretch of sand. This swath of shoreline is perfect for sunbathing or simply watching the sky turn to hues of pink and lavender at sunset. It’s also the closest beach to the town center ensuring the walk from your accommodation is a short one. Galle deserves a spotlight all its own.
If it wasn’t for this church-strewn cobble stoned town’s deeply European atmosphere you might forget that Sri Lanka was once a Dutch colony. Some highlights of Galle are the postcard ready white lighthouse perched on the pier, the Maritime Archaeology Museum, and the white crumbling facade of the Dutch Reformed Church. Peddler street, lined with boutiques, restaurants, and art galleries, offers some of the best people-watching and shopping in the country. Galle is UNESCO-Heritage recognized which helps to keep the town clean, perfectly preserved and brimming with local artisans.
Middle to top of Sri Lanka - Jaffna to Trincomalee to Passikudah
Jaffna District is located in the far north of Sri Lanka in the Northern Province and occupies most of the Jaffna Peninsula.
Trincomalee is the administrative headquarters of the Trincomalee District and major resort port city of Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. Located on the east coast of the island overlooking the Trincomalee Trincomalee has been one of the main centers of Sri Lankan Tamil language speaking culture on the island for over two millennia. With a population of 99,135, the city is built on a peninsula of the same name, which divides its inner and outer harbors. People from Trincomalee are known as Trincomalians.
Passikudah is a small coastal village situated in the east of Sri Lanka about 35 kilometers from Batticaloa. It is famous for its golden bay and clear, shallow waters in which you can wade 50 meters out to sea. The bay of Passikudah is truly scenic and is protected by a reef that runs across the bay making it one of the safest and calmest stretches of coastline in the east. The reef is home to some lovely coral formations and schools of reef fish can be seen while snorkeling.
